About Association Fraternelle Musulmane Mersch (AFMM)

Objectives of the association

The AFMM pursues many objectives on a voluntary basis, always respecting both the precepts of Islam and the Luxembourg legislation in force. In addition to meeting the various needs of Muslims (providing a place of prayer; ensuring the teaching of the Muslim religion and culture; organizing the funeral service, etc.), the AFMM also undertakes to enlighten Luxembourg public opinion on the religion of Islam, its culture, while promoting friendly and convivial relations between Luxembourg and the Muslim community. In addition to the desire to serve as a relay between Muslims and other components of society, the AFMM also aims to collaborate with other religious associations in Luxembourg, as well as with national or international associations, Islamic or not, having common projects and objectives.

Saturday Night - Our Life

Every Saturday evening between Maghrib and Isha prayers, the Imam gathers people and friends at the mosque to socialize, fostering community bonds and meaningful conversations.

Tahajjud prayer

Tahajjud prayer starts on Thursday, 20th Ramadan 1446 (March 20, 2025) at 3:30 AM and continues nightly until Ramadan ends. Join us!

خَتْمَةُ القُرآنِ الكَرِيمِ Khatmah of the Holy Quran

The Mosque invites you to attend the Khatmah of the Holy Quran on the night of the 27th of Ramadan, Wednesday, March 26, 2025 (1446 AH), during Taraweeh prayers, followed by the Du'a of Laylatul Qadr. May Allah allow us to reach this blessed night!

Eid al-Fitr Prayer & Zakat al-Fitr - صَلَاةُ العِيدِ الفِطْرِ وَزَكَاةُ الفِطْرِ
